I was brought in to provide a techy ethereal backdrop for DELETED: THE GAME, an innovative and compelling web tv show which blurs the lines between fantasy and reality by drawing users into an interactive game. Before the season started, I created a library of sounds using incongrouous elements such as a backwards guitar swells on electric and acoustic guitars, live violin playing backwards tripled and run through a variety filters, beating on a metal chair and bottle, flipping a stapler back and forth, and of course, a dial tone tweaked out into a a plethora of rhythmic beats. All this prep work was necessary for me because given the extremely short time frame of every show (I did each score in one night), I didn't want it to sound generic and formulaic. These sounds became my palate for the season, and while I always tried to add something new to each composition, they formed the signature sound of the show. I have included on this page every episode from Season 1. Watch them all here or bookmark the Deleted web site above. Sign up on the Deleted web site for updates. And until next time, don't get Deleted! New York, NY, Aug 15, 2008 -- DELETED: THE GAME is a web TV show that promises to blur the lines between fantasy and reality by drawing viewers into an interactive game. The show revolves around Tyler who is struggling to piece together her life after a traumatic incident left her with a memory failure condition. During the show's first season, she finds herself embroiled in a conspiracy. Finding herself overwhelmed, Tyler seeks help from her online friends. The producers have hidden a trail of clues in each episode, all over the internet and selected real locations, setting up a massive search for clues. For their participation, viewers earn points towards prizes including an all-expenses paid trip to meet the cast at the end of the season.
